Wandering through the recycling centre I fell in love.
With this amazing old cream piano
I just knew I had to have it.
At this point I had no idea what I was going to do with it.
(I also messaged my husband something along these lines...'I MAY have just bought a piano that I need you to pick up for me'!!!!).
Then the creative process began.
I envisioned it in a field.
But wait...that was IT - no more ideas came to me.
For a while.
Then I saw an image of a pale pink Poppy & Rose skirt.
As much as I don't like pink I could see this delicious skirt in a neutral colour.
I began to picture my daughter and a beautiful friend wearing these tulle delights.
On my piano.
In a field.
From there it was a matter of finding a headpiece I adored and creating two stunning bouquets with a wonderful, local florist.
With only weeks until my vision became a reality we were visiting friends who live on a gorgeous property right by the river.
With a brief consult with the piano mover (that would be my husband!) it was deemed possible. I may have been a bit direct with this consult...something along the lines of 'you WILL make this happen, right?' ;-)
Not without complications on the day, it ended up being far more perfect than I could have ever imagined.
My dream became reality.
