I Love Mondays | Week 16

Last week's  inspiration was a challenge.  And I mean challenge!
There were a few who said they struggled....and I must admit I was definitely one of them.
Being time poor didn't help.  But really, that's just excuses excuses!

So this week I thought I'd take it back to basics again.
A colour.
A crisp, refreshing colour.

I am completely thrilled and overwhelmed with the responses I had asking for YOUR favourite images that you have taken yourself.  I received over 100 beautiful, touching photos - and as much as I'd love to feature them all I did have to choose.
Though it was hard!

I do hope you enjoy the beautiful photography I've shared here.  They are in no particular order.  And I love them for lots of reasons.
They move me.
Draw me in.
They are sweet.
Creative.
And some are perfect in their imperfections.

This is our daughter Rilee, aged 2

She had been dancing around the room wearing only fairy wings and skirt and I was taking pics, she just stopped suddenly and started at me, and this was the result.

I have loved this image ever since, it's not the best quality but it always tugs on my heart when I see it or think about it

Piano Love | On Film

At the end of last year I photographed my favourite personal shoot to date!

I did shoot mostly on digital...for all the effort involved in pulling it together, I didn't quite trust my film skills at that stage (or now for that matter!).

But....I did still shoot a few rolls of film that I LOVE....and I'm finally getting around to blogging them :-)
